Hypertension

High blood pressure (BP) or Hypertension (HTN) is the "Silent Killer".  Most patients have no symptoms of their hypertension until their first heart attack or stroke.  BP also causes microvascular damage that affects the kidneys, eyes, brain, and other organs.

At Up 2 Par we aggressively diagnose and treat hypertension.  HTN is defined as BP> 130/80.  Diet and exercise are the first lines of treatment. We also initiate and manage medications for BP when appropriate.
